She was the daughter of a well known anthropologist and it shows in her world building which rejects the standard Eurocentric models. Ursula Kroeber Le Guin (OctoJanuary 22, 2018) was a prolific American writer, and is most known for her Speculative Fiction novels, although she also wrote poetry, nonfiction, and young adult novels.
